Enzo Mari

Mari, one of most prominent Italian industrial designers, contributed significantly to the emergent concept of design in 1950s. Today he maintains his idea that a design should embody the response to cultural change.

| 1972 | Exhibited his work at the New Domestic Landscape Exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. |
| 1977 | Appointed as chairman of Associazione per il Disegno Industriale. (ADI, Association for Industrial Design) |
| 2002 | Received an honorary bachelor degree from Politecnio di Milano. (Polytechnic University of Milan) |
| 2004 | Appointed as an honorary visiting professor at the Oribe Institute of Design in Gifu Prefecture, a foundation for industrial and cultural promotion. |
