Motomi Kawakami
Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1940. He completed the master's program at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of Fine Arts in 1966. He worked from 1966 to 1969 at Angelo Mangiarotti Architects (Milan). In 1971 he founded the Kawakami Design Room and continues to this day. He is involved in daily work such as crafting, product design, furniture, space, and environmental design..
Mikiya Kobayashi
Born in Tokyo in 1981. Graduated from Musashino Art University, after working for a design company, established Mikiya Kobayashi Studio Co., Ltd. He is involved in a wide range of furniture, products, textiles, mobility and interior design based in Tokyo and Spain. He has received many awards such as the gold medal, red dot award, and good design award at the iF product design award in Germany. From 2018, he operates the lifestyle brand "IMPLEMENTS".
Tomoyuki Matsuoka
Graduated from the Department of Industrial Design, Faculty of Engineering, Chiba University in 1992. After working as a product designer at GK Sekkei Co., Ltd. from 1992 to 1999, studied abroad at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Design Department until 2001. Returned to Japan in 2001 and established Tomoyuki Matsuoka Design. Engaged in product development with domestic and overseas companies, mainly furniture. Received the Silver Leaf Award at the 2014 International Furniture Design Competition Asahikawa 2014.
Tamura
Born in Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture in 1944. After graduating from Musashino Art University's Industrial Design Department, graduated from the Cramburg Academy of Art, Michigan, USA. Worked at Sandberg Feller Industrial Design Office. After returning to Japan, Tamura Design Office was established. Established Semple Design Co., Ltd. in 1996. Mainly manages LIFESTYLE SHOP SEMPRE, and conducts shop, design, and studio operations.
