Designer
Motomi Kawakami
Born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan in 1940. He completed the Master's program at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 1966.
Started professional practice at Angelo Mangiarotti Architects (Milan) from 1966 to 1969, he founded the Kawakami Design Room in 1971 and continues to this day.
He is involved in daily design work specializing in product, interior, space and environmental design. Collaboration in local industry promotion projects and professional education.
