Rush is an excellent natural material that Japan is proud of, as it absorbs and releases moisture, acting like a natural air purifier.
We only use rushes grown in Kyushu. It grows with good quality air, water, and earth. Rush is the same as agricultural products, if grown in rich, nutritious soil, it grows into a sturdy, dense grass. Because it is used in places where you step on it every day, we were also particular about the materials.
We did not dye it to give it any color, creating a rustic atmosphere.
Cut it to your desired length and enjoy creating your own original arrangement.
We are working to use up materials without wasting them. The size usually used for rugs is approximately 90 cm or more, but anything smaller than that will be discarded. You can easily use rushes as interior decoration while keeping the best parts of the rushes as they are. By reducing waste and commercializing as much as possible, we are contributing to the maintenance of the rush industry, the source of tatami culture.
