"IGUSA", which is the raw material of this product, is called "Beeg" in the Okinawa dialect. Okinawa rush is grown in a harsh environment which is why it has a different texture from the other rush products.
If you compare, the thickness of OKINAWA (left) is thicker than general rush (right). Hence, it is durable and can be used for a long time.
