Inoda + Subaie is a design team consisting of Kyoko Inoda and Danish native Nils Subaie.
Formed in 2000, the company is active in a wide range of fields, from wooden furniture to high-tech equipment such as medical equipment. Based in Milan, he is involved in design activities and has won numerous domestic and international awards, including the iF DESIGN AWARD Gold Award and the Good Design Award Small and Medium Enterprise Agency Commissioner's Award.
[KUNST] Means "fine art" or "art" in Danish
Karimoku's advanced cutting technology and artisanal craftsmanship are fully utilized, with the lines connecting the back, arms and rear legs being very impressive, and the cut parts of the wood and upholstery do not ruin these beautiful lines, creating a sense of unity.
Creating a sense of "life" in the shape
The design, which is inspired by curves found in nature, features "lines and surfaces that are continuous wherever you look" and "smooth connections across the entire surface." The shape of the chair evokes a sense of "life." This chair was created with the aim of being a simply beautiful, timeless classic design that can be cherished for many years.
