A sofa bed that makes effective use of space. It uses coil springs to provide firm support for your body.
The antique colonial design will add a feminine touch to your room
This sofa bed is designed with a Western colonial style motif. The decorative design of the arms has a nostalgic feel and will accentuate your room.
The Colonial Series is a long-life series of Karimoku furniture that has been produced since the 1970s. This sofa bed was designed with the same design as the Colonial Series. The arms and legs are lathe-turned (a process of cutting wood into a cylindrical shape), reminiscent of the colonial style. The seat and backrest use linked coil springs, so you can rest comfortably even when the bed is turned into a bed. The space under the seat is open, so you can see the floor, reducing the feeling of oppression in the room where it is installed.
*Note: When operating, be sure to lift the center of the seat to unlock it. If you hold the edge of the seat and raise or lower it, the metal fittings attached to the arm may deform and cause it to malfunction.
Softly curved arm top
The beech wood is carved into a soft curve so that when you place your hand on the arm, it fits naturally.
Traditional potter's wheel processing
The decorative wood under the arm is made using a lathe process, a method of carving wood into a cylinder, giving it an antique feel.
The upholstery feels smooth against the skin
The upholstery is made of 55% cotton and 13% linen, and is characterized by its smooth texture. The printed fabric is carefully buttoned to bring out the natural look of the fabric.
Switch from sofa to bed with one touch
By holding the center of the seat and lifting it up, the backrest and seat will move together and the lock will be released (you will hear a click). After unlocking, just lower the seat down to turn it into a bed.
To turn it into a sofa, do the reverse: hold the center of the seat and lift it up to lock it back into a sofa.
"Natural Mark" is a proof of nature. At Karimoku, we believe that each piece has its own unique character.
