This is a new double-structured shoji that combines kumiko vertically and horizontally as well as front and back.
Since shoji paper is pasted on both sides, it has better insulation properties than regular shoji.
Because the pattern on the front and back is different due to the three-dimensional construction, it is characterized by the beauty of light transmission and shadow.
Depending on the environment such as sunlight and lighting, the strength of the shadows on the crosspieces will change, allowing you to enjoy the various expressions of the shoji.
