The "Lights of the World" series is a product unique to Shinyo Denki, which tailors materials made by craftsmen around the world to Japanese specifications. Sometimes unexpected materials can become lighting.
We believe that handmade lighting gives individuality and color to a space, and that experiencing the culture of different lands brings new enjoyment to daily life. We hope that you can feel the warmth of the attractive handicrafts from each region through the lighting.
In order to preserve the craftsmanship and to preserve the "texture" of the country's history and culture, we make as few changes to the shade as possible and only attach and process the socket and cord. The position of the bulb is adjusted so that the shade stands out. We put a lot of effort into creating lighting that you can enjoy safely.
We use highly durable parts such as sockets and cords to ensure long life, and we also accept repairs if any parts break. (Shades cannot be repaired.)
For 75 years, Shinyo Denki has been producing and selling original design lighting fixtures in Japan as a lighting manufacturer. In 1951, we designed the first spotlights and patented downlights in Japan , and created many lighting fixtures as pioneers of store lighting, including lighting that incorporates European modern styles . Later, the company established connections with Japanese lighting craftsmen and shifted its focus to Japanese-style lighting, but it remains committed to quality and consistent domestic handmade production.

The light that overflows from the shade is reflected on the ceiling, which is also wonderful.
It also comes with a matching hook-on ceiling cover, making it recommended for dining rooms.
