Unlocking new possibilities for wood
The SEOTO-EX100 aimed to achieve both a beautiful form that conveys the warmth of wood and a comfortable seating experience that minimizes strain on the body even after prolonged sitting. The sculptural form, boldly carved from solid wood, combines beauty with gentleness to the body. Wood enriches everyday life. The three-dimensional, beautiful backrest and seat, created through repeated carving while confirming the pleasant feel against the skin, are filled with the warmth and gentleness of wood.
Comfort of sitting
The chair supports the pelvis at two points: the raised rear of the seat and the wide backrest with its complex three-dimensional shape. This suppresses posterior pelvic rotation, which can cause poor posture and strain on the body. This maintains the natural S-curve of the spine and provides "pelvic support*" that stabilizes the core, resulting in a comfortable seating experience that reduces fatigue even when sitting for long periods, whether as a dining chair, for teleworking, or in the office.

Comfortable back
The backrest is constructed with curved surfaces that are rounded both vertically and horizontally, and the edges are beveled to provide a gentle back support while still offering firm lumbar support*. The backrest's shape gently conforms to the body, so it does not hinder movement, making it easy to perform stretching exercises that involve leaning the upper body backward.
