Each piece in shesay's ACACIA WOOD series is handcrafted by artisans. Because each piece is carved from seamless natural wood, knots and cracks due to drying may occur. Acacia has a distinct contrast between light and dark, with a dark brown center and white edges. We view knots, grain, and variations in shade as characteristics of the wood itself, and aim to use raw materials efficiently and conserve limited resources. No two products delivered to our customers are the same. We hope you will enjoy the individual differences and expressions of the material itself.
Precautions
Because these products utilize the natural texture of natural materials, each piece will have variations in knots, grain, and color intensity. Wooden products are prone to scratches and may shrink, warp, or develop slight cracks due to changes in climate and environment. Because this is natural wood, avoid soaking the product in water, as this can cause deformation, cracks, and breaks. After use, wash the product as soon as possible, wipe off any moisture with a soft cloth, and dry thoroughly. Leaving the product wet can lead to mold and bacteria. Also, keep in mind that storing the product in direct sunlight or near a fire or other heat sources for extended periods may cause cracks. The surface is minimally coated to preserve the texture and feel. As a result, slight color variations may occur.
