Brass reacts with airborne components to tarnish and darken, so with use, the color may gradually darken and stain-like spots may appear. Please understand that this is a characteristic of the product. Avoid using acidic foods or beverages as they may cause discoloration or dissolve metal components. Leaving the product unwashed after use or leaving food on it for a long period of time can cause discoloration and verdigris. Wash the product as soon as possible after use, then wipe it dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Do not wash in the dishwasher or other appliances as this may cause rust and corrosion. Do not use metal scrubbing pads or abrasive detergents as they may scratch the surface. Metal products have excellent thermal conductivity, so please be careful when putting hot food in them as the metal surface may become hot and cause burns. Metal is a strong material, but please be aware that it may break if dropped or subjected to strong impact.
