Material information
Cotton flax is a fabric made by weaving together two natural materials, cotton and flax, to combine the best of both worlds. It is durable, hygroscopic, and water-absorbent, and has a soft, fluffy texture while remaining firm. It is said to be relatively wrinkle-resistant and retains its shape well. The more you use it, the more it will become comfortable to wear.
Organic cotton differs from regular cotton in that it is grown without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers, and only fibers and products that meet certain standards can be called "organic cotton."
In order to make the most of the natural cotton grown on safe farmland, the fabric is made without any chemical treatments such as bleaching, dyeing or softening. Because no bleaching or dyeing is used, there is no need to remove the oils and waxes in the cotton, and the natural softness of the cotton is preserved without the addition of fabric softeners.
Precautions
The fabric, Organic Cotton used in this product contains areas known as "neps" due to the characteristics of the weaving method. These neps are caused by the characteristics of the material and by the bunching of threads that occurs during the weaving process, and may result in slight variations in color. As a result, the color may appear lighter in some areas, but this is a characteristic of the product and does not affect the quality. Please be aware of this in advance.
Please note that this product may bleed or discolor other items due to sun exposure, sweat, or friction when wet. Due to the nature of the material, color fading and shrinkage may occur, so please place the product in a laundry net and do not wash with other items. Do not use detergents containing fluorescent brighteners or bleach. Do not soak the product in water for long periods of time or leave it wet. Avoid tumble drying; allow it to air dry. This product is ironed before delivery, but wrinkles may appear after washing, as shown in the image.
