Mango wood is used for furniture and tableware because it has a smooth, pleasant texture and beautiful grain when polished. It features a slightly coarse grain and a rough texture, with a light brown with a hint of brown and reddish brown. While some pieces have yellowish or black hues, the natural texture of the material makes each piece truly unique.
Precautions
Because wood is constantly breathing and living, it expands and contracts depending on the external temperature and humidity. Climate and environmental changes can cause expansion and contraction, resulting in warping, cracks, and gaps. Please understand that due to the nature of wood, some pieces may be slightly warped. To maximize the use of natural materials, we also use materials with characteristic knots and cracks. Products made from solid wood may vary in color depending on the area of the wood. Because woodworking is kept to a minimum, resin may appear and cause color transfer. Resin is particularly likely to appear during high temperatures and humidity levels. Always install the product level and securely secure it when placing heavy objects on it. Avoid collapse, tipping, falling, and injury. Avoid direct exposure to excessive sunlight or air from heating or air conditioning units. This can cause deformation, discoloration, and rot. We recommend cleaning with a dry cloth. Wiping with water may result in color transfer. Since all items are handmade, there may be slight individual differences in size, color, and finish, but please enjoy the texture that cannot be found in mass-produced products. The listed weight capacity is a reference value when properly installed. It is dangerous to apply pressure unevenly in one place, so please use it so that the weight is distributed evenly.
