Camellia hairpins and rush grass ornaments (2 colors) displayed in a plump Mino ware vase

Product description
This is a set of rush grass ornaments and a small vase made in Mino ware, a pottery region where roughly half of the ceramics produced in Japan are Mino ware. Place the camellia mizuhiki and rush grass in the vase and enjoy it as a New Year's decoration. The camellia mizuhiki comes with a hairpin, so you can use it for New Year's hair arrangements or as an obi clasp. The vibrant red, yellow, and green rush grass can be used in just one color or mixed together to create your own unique look. After displaying it as a New Year's decoration, you can enjoy the deodorizing and relaxing effects of rush grass all year round. It can be used in a variety of places in your home, such as your entryway, living room, or bathroom.

Material information
The scientific name for rush grass, Juncus, apparently means "to tie." The word "tie" has various meanings, such as to connect, organize, create, solidify, and tighten, and is also used to mean tying bonds and hearts, such as forming relationships with people or making promises. Igusa is a grass with such auspicious meanings. Igusa also has the effect of purifying the air, deodorizing, and regulating humidity, and its scent has a relaxing effect.

Precautions
Please remove the washi paper wrapped around the rush grass before use. This product is made from natural rush grass, and each individual rush grass strand varies in thickness. Therefore, please understand that no two products are the same. Mold may grow in humid environments. The product may break or snap depending on how dry it is. The product may become brittle over time. Pulling too hard may cause the product to break or snap. Please note that humidity can cause the rush grass to absorb moisture and discolor. If mold does form, dry it in a well-ventilated, shady area and scrub the surface with a brush to remove it. Please note that prolonged exposure to direct sunlight will cause the product to tan and discolor. The vase can be used to hold fresh flowers. After use, wash with a soft sponge or cloth and dish soap. Do not use cleansers or nylon scrubbing brushes, as they may scratch the surface. Wipe off any moisture and allow to dry thoroughly. When using on a table, please be careful not to drag the dish as it may scratch the table. When disposing of the dish, please follow the rules of your local municipality.
