Beautifully woven sorghum broom (2 colors)

Product description
The highlight of this broom is its rounded tip, which looks like it came straight out of a picture book. The braiding on the handle and the base of the tip is done by hand by artisans. You can enjoy the simple charm that can only be achieved with natural materials and handmade products. It is finished in a long length that makes it easy to use.

Material information
Sorghum, an annual grass in the grass family, is characterized by its flexible ears and slight oil content. Sorghum, with its long, uniform ears, has long been used to make room brooms. Sweeping tatami mats with a broom made from sorghum leaves them with a lustrous finish, making it a familiar and practical cleaning tool for Japanese people. With Western-style rooms now the norm, brooms are gaining renewed attention from the perspectives of eco-friendliness and sustainability, as they do not use electricity, and also from the perspectives of mindfulness and Zen, which help to balance the mind and body. Each sorghum broom is handwoven by artisans, boasting a simple, sophisticated look while remaining lightweight and practical. Not only is it convenient for everyday use, but it can also be enjoyed as a decorative piece of furniture when not stored.

Precautions
Because these are handmade, individual variations in size, color, and texture may occur. The broom corn used is threshed, but some kernels may remain. Please handle with care as excessive force or friction may cause breakage or deterioration. Due to the characteristics of the material, avoid using it in wet or humid locations as it may cause mold. If it gets wet, drain it thoroughly and allow it to dry naturally. Avoid storing it in direct sunlight or in direct air conditioning, as this may cause color fading and deterioration. Please note that the colors of the braided yarn and the broom corn may transfer and discolor. Please take care when storing it to avoid color transfer to white wallpaper, etc. Also, do not store it by hanging it, as this may cause the tips to bend or break.
