A sofa that feels casual and light

A long-established store founded in 1979 in Asahikawa, which is famous nationwide as a town of furniture. In 1967, the company's president won a silver prize at the "Skills Competition / International Competition Furniture Division" held in Spain. After that, he generously passed on his skills to the young craftsmen who inherited them, and is one of the people who protects the quality and tradition of Asahikawa furniture. In addition, the company has a factory of nearly 1,000 tsubo on a site of more than 20,000 tsubo and has about 40 employees, making it one of the largest in the industry. The furniture made there has a novel design while emphasizing tradition, and the lean form that does not overwhelm the room is perfect for modern interiors. Among such a stylish lineup, it is this "AMEDEO" series that gives off a particularly fascinating beauty. The chic color of the wood and the lustrous texture unique to genuine leather give you an indescribable quality. Of course, it is not only the appearance but also the comfort of sitting.

A sofa created by resonating beauty and woodwork technology

Designer Noriyuki Ebina created the sophisticated form. After graduating from the design department of Hokkaido Tokai University, he gained experience at a furniture manufacturer in Asahikawa and became independent. At the 1996 Asahikawa International Furniture Competition, he won the silver prize, the highest prize for a Japanese at the time. In addition, while familiar with local materials and environments, the design created with an international sensibility has the atmosphere of Scandinavian furniture even though it is made in Japan.

Presence of solid wood, easy-to-use elbow rest

The material of the frame is "walnut," which has a deep brown color that gives it a mature look. Along with teak and mahogany, it is said to be one of the world's three most precious woods. The strong and hard texture is ideal for furniture, and the beautiful grain and heavy feeling are attractive. Using such a rare material as a luxuriously wide armrest, we have created a fascinating form. Wood containing a moderate amount of oil produces an elegant luster, and the more you use it, the more it shines.

The ultimate form with outstanding craftsmanship

The entire sofa is curved in a U shape, and the cushions are also made to fit the shape. It's a stylish layout that makes you want to have a conversation naturally when you sit down. However, since it is a gentle curve, you will not feel any unnatural strain on your body even if you lie down. And the tightly stretched fabric is "new smooth" genuine leather. The frame part is treated with urethane, so it has excellent water resistance and abrasion resistance.

The back of the beautiful lattice that draws exquisite curves

The pale maple color contrasts with the walnut to create a beautiful contrast. The use of bright colors creates a light impression, and the latticework eliminates the feeling of oppression and has the effect of making the room look wider. In addition, the legs that are curved back greatly accentuate the beauty of the sofa. The design fits well with both Japanese and Western interiors, so it can be used for a long time regardless of age or gender.
