This product was born in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, one of Japan's leading furniture production areas, at the long-established ``Takumi Kogei'', which was founded in 1979. We truly are a group of "artisans", with many of our staff, including our president, receiving awards at the "International Furniture Design Fair Asahikawa", which is the gateway to success in wooden furniture design.
An elegant machine that was assembled entirely by hand.
As the series name "CRAFT" suggests, each table is carefully assembled by craftsmen. In an industry where mass production by machines is commonplace, we decided to focus on handmade products. Before shipping, we thoroughly check every detail for slight distortions and textures that can only be felt by the human hand. The CRAFT series is a masterpiece that took two and a half years to commercialize as a result of once ignoring cost and ease of production and refocusing on the company's philosophy.

There are two types of materials: ``Oak'', which has a strong wood grain and grayish color that blends easily with other furniture, and ``Walnut'', which has a deep brown color that gives it a chic and mature look. All of them are durable, beautiful and precious trees that have been loved all over the world since ancient times. High-quality urethane coating enhances the charm of the material. Stylish design that doesn't make you feel the thickness of the top plate
The charm of this table is the design of the top plate, which is 32mm thick and does not make you feel it. Moreover, there is no "curtain board" that surrounds the back of the top plate. The curtain plate is an indispensable part for reinforcement, but it is made of durable material and is firmly supported by strong metal fittings from the back side, so it is designed to be safe even on a table with a maximum width of 200 cm. The secret behind the thin appearance of the top plate is that it is carved so that it slopes toward the back. It has a light and stylish design. Furthermore, there is no curtain board, so the legroom is extremely spacious.
Organic legs attached to the extreme edge of the tabletop
There is no curtain plate, the top is thin, and even the legs are placed close to the very edge of the top, so it can be said that there is no other table with a wider leg base than this one. The designer of this beautiful table is Mikiya Kobayashi, who graduated from Musashino Art University and worked for one of Japan's leading architectural design companies before going independent. The design combines urban sensibility and the simplicity of solid wood with an exquisite balance.
