The light is diffused by the drape of the half mirror shade, giving off a fantastic glow. The Auro Mirror shade uses a half mirror sheet made of PET film with a special metal processing. While suppressing the glare of the light from the bulb, the light is diffused by the sheet, creating a beautiful effect like the aurora. It is perfect as a second light in the living room or as a light in a relaxing space such as the bedroom.
The base has a luxurious satin finish. The light can be turned on and off with a foot switch.
Auro shades are cut from large sheets, minimizing waste and are ecologically sound. They come in compact packaging and are easy to assemble.
The design was created by Domei, the president of Diclasse. The Auro series has been a long-loved bestseller since its release in 2007. It won the Good Design Award in 2008.
