A cordless, rechargeable portable lamp made from the traditional Japanese craft of lanterns
This portable lamp was created by focusing on the traditional Japanese craft of lanterns, and combines the soft light and texture of washi paper with the charging and dimming functions of LEDs. Its shape is reminiscent of a lantern, making it a great accent piece for any interior. The rounded shape allows the light to shine not only upwards, but also on the table surface.
How to make high-quality Japanese lanterns
Compared to regular lanterns, these lanterns are smaller in design and require delicate workmanship, so we insisted on having them made in Japan rather than overseas. We asked Suzuki Mohei Shoten, a lantern-making company with 150 years of history, to manufacture them, and they created a product with meticulous attention to detail.
You can enjoy the soft light of washi paper anywhere you like, such as in the dining room or bedroom.
This is a rechargeable portable lamp, so you can take it anywhere you like. Because it is cordless, you can create a beautiful dining table without the cord getting in the way when eating at the dining table. The soft, warm light makes food taste even more delicious. It is also useful for drinking in the evening.
The color temperature* of the light is 2400K (Kelvin), which is a warm color. *The color temperature of light is expressed in K (Kelvin), and the lower the value, the closer it is to the red of a flame, and the higher the value, the closer it is to the blue of the sky. The color of a sunrise or sunset is generally said to be between 2000K and 2500K.
Soft lighting with stepless dimming
If you press and hold the power button on the base, the light changes color. It goes from bright enough to brighten a room, to light enough to enjoy a meal, to a soft candle-like light that gradually fades to a dim light.
If you touch and hold it again, it will slowly brighten. When you turn it off, the previous brightness is memorized, so the next time you turn it on, it will light up at the same brightness as before it was turned off. The button is touch sensor type, so it responds to even a light touch.

Continuous lighting time: Approximately 4 to 170 hours. It takes about 4 hours from the start of charging to fully charge. It lights up for about 4 hours at maximum light output. It lights up for about 170 hours at minimum light output. It is a lamp that can be used even during a power outage.

The bobori lantern is inspired by the lantern's name, a lantern with a shape reminiscent of a lantern, and will add an accent to your interior. When you remove the support and handle, it takes on an interesting shape that is unique to lanterns.
By removing the pole and handle that support the lantern, you can change its shape. It can also be lit without the pole. *Because it is made of washi paper, it may not be able to maintain its shape for a long time if the pole is removed. Please handle with care.
