A special picture book lamp to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Moomin
The design is simple, yet humorous and stylish. Various characters are scattered across the cover, and Moomin and Snorkmaiden peek out from a round window. When you open the cover, you'll see pictures of the Moomins' adventures.
"The door is always open"
The 80th anniversary keyword, "The door is always open," represents the inclusion, protection, comfort and safety that are the foundations of a free, adventurous and happy life. The Moomin House door is always open to all creatures who knock. When you open the book, you embark on an adventure, and when you close it, your friends and family gather together.
Special Craft to Commemorate the 80th Anniversary
The craft has a special design for the 80th anniversary of Moomin. It uses art from the first Moomin comic, "Moomintroll and the End of the Earth." This work was serialized in the Swedish newspaper "Ny Tyd" from 1947 to 1948 and became the basis for the novel "The Comet in Moomin Valley."
It is powered by two AAA batteries and can be turned on/off using the switch on the bottom.
