A lamp that expresses traditional Japanese beauty with a delicate and mysterious "cocoon" motif
Since ancient times, Japanese people have made raw silk from cocoons and used it as silk. When the larvae turn into pupae, they use secretions to create a cocoon, which is fleeting and yet valiant, and it is hard not to feel a sense of mysticism. The cocoon is a naturally formed, streamlined, bag-like covering with a beautiful shape. Using the motif of such a cocoon, we have created a soft light using traditional Echizen washi paper. The design is finished in a "modern Japanese style" and will fit in with both Japanese and Western spaces. It is recommended for use as a light before sleep in the bedroom, living room, or Japanese-style room (guest room).

Echizen Washi, a historic traditional Japanese craft
Echizen washi paper has a history of 1500 years, and the techniques have been handed down through the generations. It is known as one of the "Three Great Japanese Papers". Echizen washi paper, with its thick and long fibers intertwined and finished in a warm off-white color, was chosen because it somehow resembles the delicate beauty of silkworm cocoons. Echizen washi paper is carefully made through various processes and is characterized by its smooth glossy surface and high quality.

The beauty of simple straight lines and curves
The name OH comes from the "O" of the cocoon-shaped shade and the "H" of the base. The base is designed with just a simple square rod to bring out the beautiful curves and texture of the shade.

Commitment to handmade products
We pay tribute to traditional Japanese craftsmanship such as sericulture and washi paper making, and insist on using the word "Made in Japan." Not only do we use traditional Japanese washi paper, but the lamination is also done by hand by craftsmen.

The calm texture and warm feel of washi paper
When the light is turned on, the fibers of the washi paper shine through, creating a calming orange light and a dramatic contrast of shadows in the space.
