Description

A beautiful shelf with shell lines that also doubles as a bookend, with round wood of the same length arranged in an HP shell structure. This is a masterpiece of Japanese cypress grown in the carefully cultivated forests of Nara Prefecture.

It has a structure in which 37 round rods receive the load equally, and each one plays a role similar to human muscles, making it independent and stable while shaking. Everything is made of solid Japanese cypress, and even the slight creaking sound gives it a somewhat solemn atmosphere. In addition, since it can be placed without depending on the wall, you can enjoy different expressions depending on the viewing angle.

It is a wooden knockdown type.

[About material/HINOKI]

There is also a theory that the origin of the word cypress is ``tree of fire'' or ``fire spirit,'' and it has been considered a sacred tree in Japan since ancient times. Due to its beautiful white lustrous colour and excellent durability, it was valued as a construction material for houses, temples, and shrines. In addition, the scent of cypress contains ingredients such as alpha-pinene and limonene, which can be expected to have forest bathing effects such as recovery from fatigue, sound sleep, and relaxation. We hope that you can enjoy the delicate beauty of the wood grain and the smooth texture with all five senses.

[With materials/History of Yoshino Forestry]

Yoshino Forestry has a long history, said to be over 500 years old. Planting, weeding, pruning, thinning, lumbering... After decades, trees are transformed into various shapes and delivered to our customers. The beautiful grain of the sophisticated cypress wood is the result not only of Yoshino's blessed climate, but also of the efforts of these mountain guardians (craftsmen in charge of forestry). As times change, the nature of trees and forests is now being questioned. Morisho will continue to protect the traditions of Yoshino to the next generation, working towards the realization of a society where forests and people live together.

*Please note:
As we are using natural materials as is, there may be some knots, cracks, etc. that do not pose a problem for use. Please note that this is a unique ``taste'' that is unique to the wood material, as no two are the same. Please note that there are individual differences in design and size, and the item may not be exactly the same as the image.
We recommend that you use it indoors as it will age faster if exposed to direct sunlight.

Please note that we cannot accept returns once the package has been opened.
