A convenient dish for both desserts and meals

Product description
Although it is small, it has a little depth, making it a handy item to have on hand. Its size makes it easy to use as a dessert cup for ice cream, shaved ice, warabimochi, and other dishes, as well as a small bowl or plate for food. Finished in a gray color that complements both Japanese and Western dishes and desserts. Arita ware, with its 400-year tradition, has been given a minimalist design and color scheme that suits modern dining scenes. It comes in a designer box, making it a delightful gift item.

Material information
Arita ware is a historic production area that celebrated its 400th anniversary as the birthplace of porcelain in 2016. Its production is characterized by a division of labor, with many artisans involved in processes such as clay preparation, mold making, shaping, painting, and firing. It takes decades of experience to become a fully trained artisan, and it is a craftsmanship brimming with skill and passion. The raw materials used are high-quality clay mined in the Amakusa region of Kumamoto Prefecture, and glazes primarily composed of domestic feldspar and ash. Firing at a high temperature of 1300°C for over 12 hours, followed by slow cooling, achieves beautiful color and high strength. The firing process, in particular, is crucial to the quality of the product. Arita ware, produced in this way, is beloved by many as a masterpiece that can be used safely and for a long time.

Precautions
Because these pieces are handmade, there will be individual differences in color, shape, size, and thickness. The glazing process is done by hand, so there will be individual differences in the shade of color, the color of the glaze, and the way it is applied. Enjoy the unique texture of each piece, which is unique to handmade items. Also, because the clay contains a lot of iron, small light brown or black dots may appear on the surface of the vessel, but this does not affect its usability. The glaze used is a "crystalline glaze," which causes fine crystal particles to stand out. The thicker areas of the glaze tend to be darker in color, while the thinner areas tend to be lighter in color. Enjoy the unique characteristics of crystalline glaze. While these pieces can be microwaved, please avoid rapidly cooling them in cold water while the surface is still hot, as this may cause cracks. While dishwasher safe, we recommend hand-washing thin pieces, as the water pressure may cause vibration and crack. Avoid strong impacts, as this may cause cracks. Avoid using them over an open flame. Wash with a mild detergent. 〇Dishwasher and microwave safe
