The value of "Takumi Kobo" made by careful craftsmen's handiwork
A chair made of solid walnut wood. The kasagi on the back is made of bent wood, and the curves on both ends gently wrap the body.
The finish is a vegetable oil paint finish to make the most of the texture of the wood. You can feel the texture of the wood and the texture of the wood because it is a paint that does not create a coating film on the surface of the wood and penetrates the oil into the inside of the wood. The joining of the front legs and the seat surface uses a split wedge, an ancient method, to achieve both strength and design. For that reason, no reinforcing material is used between the legs, which also contributes to weight reduction. The seat has a counterbore for excellent comfort.
