The value of "Takumi Kobo" made by careful craftsmen's handiwork
Once the lumber logs are sawed, the boards are piled up and dried naturally over several years. Furthermore, the water content is reduced to 10% or less by kiln drying, and then the top plate processing is finally started. The “wooden ears” on both sides of the top board are neatly stitched together, leaving the natural shape as it is. No two are the same shape, so it will be the only original table in the world. A technique called "ant-shaped sucking cross-joint" is used to prevent warping of the top plate, which firmly prevents warping and misalignment of the wood. A normal low table is about 35 cm.
