It is a pottery shell-shaped delicacy. The cherry blossom pattern is beautifully drawn.
This porcelain is produced by using a fabric (earth) that has been developed to be even stronger than the normally used ordinary clay fabric, and by setting it at a higher temperature than a normal kiln.
