SUGIKOJO K&K 1950 France Martin table-Extension
There are many masterpieces made by unknown craftsmen from different countries and eras around the world. <K&K replica series> is a series of nameless masterpieces redesigned to suit modern life.
The first thing that catches your eye is its impressive hexagonal legs. The gradation created by the shadows has a unique presence. It has a compact size that fits in small spaces, but it also comes with an extendable top plate with a width of 155 mm, so you can expand it when you have guests. It can also be used as a desk without being expanded. The extended part is fixed by pulling out a wooden piece, and the hinges are made of brass. It is also possible to make a semi-order with a large top plate. The main material is natural oak wood from Hokkaido. The wood grain is solid, hard, strong, and beautiful, and the more you use it, the more it takes on a deep luster.
You can choose your preference from three types of finish: unpainted, oil finish, and persimmon tannin + oil finish. Kakishibu is a naturally derived paint that has been around since ancient times in Japan. You can use the unpainted furniture as is, but you can also paint it yourself with persimmon tanning or oil. After repeated maintenance, it will eventually be passed on to the next generation. I hope that I can be an opportunity to create such a cycle.
